of Gentari, the session examined the enablers needed to scale India’s hydrogen ecosystem, from policy frameworks and investment strategies to global collaboration.

Participants examined critical challenges, including infrastructure bottlenecks, financing hurdles, and the policy mechanisms required to accelerate adoption. Comparisons were drawn to the early days of the solar industry, emphasising the need for government-backed mandates, demand aggregation, and cost-reduction strategies. The session also assessed India’s hydrogen cost competitiveness, with discussions on export potential, global market dynamics and financing innovations.
